Refund Policy

Refund Policy

I am generally happy to discuss a refund if you are dissatisfied with my services. Please read my entire policy below as it refers to refund requirements based on specific services.

Editing Refunds

I will offer a 100% refund of deposits made by any client who has prepaid for services and cancelled in writing at least 72 hours prior to the start date. A 50% refund is available to clients who cancel in writing within 72 hours of the start date. Once the project has begun I cannot offer a refund for this service. The service can still be cancelled and no further payments will become due.

Refunds will be offered if I must cancel the booking for any reason. I will offer a 100% refund or a discounted new booking.

Refunds will be offered if the client is dissatisfied with the editing service and can show cause. I will negotiate a prorated amount with each client requesting a refund within 30 days of completion.

 

I will offer a 10% refund for late completion caused by me when requested by the client within 30 days of completion.

Consulting Refunds

I will offer a 100% refund of deposits made for consulting engagements if cancelled in writing seven days prior to engagement. For example if I am to speak on Tuesday a cancellation must be requested the prior Tuesday for me to offer a full refund. Services cancelled within the seven day window will not receive refunds on their deposits as materials will already have been prepared for the engagement.

I will refund any expenses incurred by my client if I must cancel an engagement for reasons in my control. I cannot offer refunds for issues related to nature, political unrest, or travel bans etc.
